Gold IRA Companies: How to Compare Providers
A Gold IRA dealer is only one part of the arrangement. Compare the dealer, IRA custodian or trustee, storage setup, metal eligibility and total economics before making a decision.
What matters most
- Minimum: Does the provider's minimum fit the amount you actually intend to allocate?
- Total cost: Ask about setup, annual administration, storage, transactions and metal pricing.
- Spread: Compare the price you would pay with the company’s same-day repurchase indication for the identical product.
- Custody and storage: Understand who the IRA trustee/custodian is and where qualifying bullion will be held.
- Sales practices: Be cautious with urgency, guarantees or claims that minimize risk.
