Augusta Precious Metals Fees & Costs
Augusta publishes an example for custodian and storage costs. Investors should also ask about the price of the metals and the spread between buying and selling.
| Augusta published Equity example | Amount |
|---|---|
| Custodian application fee | $50 |
| Annual custodian fee | $125 |
| Sample depository storage fee | $100 |
| First-year example | $275 |
| Recurring annual example | $225 |
The fee sheet is an example, not a universal guarantee. Custodian, depository and service choices can change the amount.
The cost that is easy to miss
The quoted metal price matters just as much as account fees. Ask for the purchase price and the company’s same-day repurchase indication for the exact same coin or bar. That difference can reveal how much price movement would be needed before a sale is profitable.
